SAXONIA is one of Germany’s oldest precious metal refineries. We continue the long tradition of precious metal extraction and processing in the Freiberg region, which dates back to the early 17th century.
As a company of the SAXONIA Group, we recover silver, gold, platinum and other precious metals from precious metal-bearing concentrates, residues and scrap. We process these recycled precious metals into new products for renowned brands worldwide. This makes us a strong and recognised partner to industrial customers around the world.
Through this cycle of recycling and reuse, we reduce the need for newly mined precious metals, conserve valuable resources and contribute to protecting the environment.
