Drawing on its expertise in the manufacture and processing of contact materials, SAXONIA offers you a wide range of contact parts, contact rivets and pads, contact profiles, as well as precision-punched and bent parts – all manufactured to your exact specifications.
With decades of experience in the processing of precious metals and their alloys, our contact and stamped parts are used across a wide range of industries – such as switchgear and control technology, electronics and electrical engineering, telecommunications and security technology, and the automotive industry.
On request, we can also manufacture complete assemblies to your individual specifications, whether electroplated, assembled or plastic-coated. We would be happy to support you every step of the way, from the design of the parts through to the selection of materials, right through to the completion and inspection of the parts.
Contact parts, contact rivets and contact pads
SAXONIA manufactures for you a wide range of contact parts and top-quality contact rivets and -contact pads for switchgear and relays custom-made to customer specifications.
- Individual contact rivets in solid form or as bi- or trimetallic rivets
- Contacts such as welded, riveted or soldered complete solutions
- Contacts as a stamped and bent component of a prefabricated contact profile fitted with contact material
- Contact inserts as welded-on contacts (wire segments or plates)
- Welding contacts onto the solid or pre-punched substrate using resistance or laser welding
- Soldered contacts using resistance or induction soldering onto the solid or pre-punched substrate
Our contact parts are available to you in various finishes:
- With or without contacts, thread cutting and screw insertion
- Electroplated with tin, zinc or precious metals such as silver and gold, to improve conductivity or provide corrosion protection

Contact profiles
The seam-welded contact profiles from SAXONIA are produced in up to 4 layers on a single seam-welding line as inlays or toplays. They are used as semi-finished products in the manufacturing industry or as intermediate product for our in-house contact component manufacturing use.

Milling / turning of contact parts
SAXONIA’s milled and turned components are manufactured on our state-of-the-art, high-performance CNC-controlled milling and turning centres in accordance with individual customer requirements. Combined processes involving soldered or welded contacts, or subsequent electroplating or surface treatment (e.g. sandblasting), can also be carried out.

Stamped – and bent parts from SAXONIA are produced on our high-performance automatic punching machines in accordance with individual customer requirements.
Our stamped and bent parts are available to you in various finishes:

- Mit Zinn, Zink oder Edelmetallen wie Silber, Gold galvanisiert, zur Verbesserung von Leitfähigkeit oder Korrosionsschutz

Toolmaking for contact and stamped parts
SAXONIA not only manufactures finished contact, stamped and bent parts, but also designs and produces all the necessary tools in-house. To this end, we have all the necessary facilities for various manufacturing processes, such as die-sinking and wire EDM, surface grinding, milling and turning. Naturally, our tools are regularly inspected and serviced both before and after use, ensuring they operate smoothly in our production processes at all times.
