SAXONIA offers you a diverse range of semi-finished precious metal products. Our portfolio ranges from bespoke castings, tubes, bars, sheets and wires to anodes, targets, precision strips, and milled and turned components. Our high-quality semi-finished products are used as technical materials and alloys in many different industrial sectors, or serve as first-class raw materials for jewellery and investment assets.
Our customers primarily include manufacturers of electrical contact parts, switches and fuses for the electrical engineering and electronics sectors, as well as plant manufacturers and suppliers to the chemical and energy sectors. We produce surfaces and strengths to customer specifications. We supply precious metal targets for thin-film technology, with main applications in optical data storage, electronics and glass coating.

Sputter targets and evaporation materials
SAXONIA manufactures targets and sputtering materials from precious metals. Our targets are used in PVD processes, for example for applications in optical data storage, electronics, photovoltaics, film coating or mirror manufacturing. The main application of silver targets is the large-area coating of architectural glass in magnetrons. This process imparts specific wavelength-dependent properties to the coated object (IR-reflective / transparent to visible light).
